Toronto Weightlifting is also a competitive Olympic weightlifting team and a consistent top performer in Ontario’s junior and senior divisions. The team includes both male and female athletes of all ages and skill levels. Training is held at Kanama High Performance, an elite facility owned and operated by Hani Kanama.
Founded in 2004 by Hani Kanama, Toronto Weightlifting began as a supplier of Olympic weightlifting bars and plates in Toronto, Canada. Over the years, the business has expanded to include lifting shoes, custom racks, and even an Olympic weightlifting competition lighting system. Today, our focus has shifted to training, and we no longer sell equipment, instead dedicating ourselves to supporting the sport of Olympic weightlifting at every level.
