No commitment required — pay month-to-month.
Classes are held three times per week and last approximately 75 minutes:
Tuesdays: 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Thursdays: 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Saturdays: 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM
Each participant will receive an assessment at the beginning of the program to help set a personal baseline and guide training.
Kanama High Performance proudly introduces its Olympic Weightlifting Program, led by Coach Hani Kanama, one of Canada’s top Olympic weightlifting coaches.
This month-to-month group class is designed for beginners and intermediates looking to build a strong foundation in the Olympic lifts: the Snatch and the Clean and Jerk.
You’ll also learn important accessory movements to support your technique and strength development, including:
Front and Back Squats
Clean Pulls
Snatch Pulls
Press Variations
Split Squats
Back Extensions
Whether your goal is to gain muscle, get stronger, improve performance, or simply learn proper lifting technique, this program is a great fit.
The program focuses on four key areas to maximize your training:
Safe and effective lifting technique
Strength development in the lower body, core, and shoulders
Mobility and joint-friendly movement patterns
A solid foundation in Olympic lifting for long-term progress
All movements are taught with a focus on proper form. This system has been successfully used with professional and semi-professional athletes.
